The school has a strict policy regarding bullying. Compassion is what the Bible tells us to manifest, and therefore, we expect nothing less from our students. Although bullying is something we cannot eliminate, be assured that we have policy in place to report, address and sanction bullying incidents in school. This is done with confidentiality and compassion for everyone involved in any incident of bullying.
Keeping our students safe is our priority. Students are required to wear their ID in school for proper identification. Visitors need an appointment slip duly signed to be able to enter the school. The intent to enter the school must be related to school concerns in order to be accommodated. No outside solicitation is allowed in school. Our security and maintenance personnel are assigned in the school ground to address students’ need when it comes to safety and security.
The school offers a faith-based and results-based curriculum that tackles essential knowledge, skills and Biblical principles that will guide students to live a meaningful life both now and in eternity. This is based from the basic curriculum prescribed by the Department of Education, strengthened by alignment to international standards such as Singapore and California to ensure global competency of our students, and most of all based from Biblical principles that bring wisdom to everything we learn about this world that God created.
We try to make it convenient and comfortable for our students during their stay in school. Therefore, we provide air-conditioning systems in our classrooms and ventilation systems in other areas of the school.
The school has a multi-purpose covered court where we hold different programs and activities for our students’ convenience and comfort.
There is a minimal fee which is included in their over-all fees that covers their special class for the entire year.
AFCS believes in offering holistic education. Therefore, we offer varied extracurricular activities in sports and the arts wherein students can learn different disciplines that can help them in their over-all growth and development. We offer basketball, volleyball, badminton, chess, art, piano, guitar, chorus, multimedia and theater classes.
It is important for us to ensure that our new students will be able to integrate themselves smoothly in our Faithian community. Interviews will help us identify areas where students may struggle and will help us give recommendations as to how both the school and student can adjust in its expectations as we welcome each one into our Faith community.
Incoming students must be able to pass the screening process — written entrance exam and oral interview. Through this, we ensure that transition into the Faith community will somehow be cohesive and smooth.
Incoming students must fill up the application form and submit requirements — PSA birth certificate, Form 9 (report card) from previous school, 2 pcs. 1×1 picture, good moral certificate from previous school. Afterwhich, they will take the entrance exam and will be interviewed by the school head. Results are available two working days after.
